81, of Phoenix died October 6, 2010. Mr. Reyes was born July 17, 1929, in Gallup, New Mexico. He moved to Arizona in 1936 with his family. He is survived by his son, Alex & Annette Reyes; daughter, Barbara & Raymond Lopez; brother, Julian; sister, Bonnie; step-children, Manuel Flores, Gregory Flores; Alice Sonoqui, Rosemary Cruz, Rosalie Translvania, Margie James; grandchildren, Barbara, Alex III, Stephanie, Anthony, Tomica, Kristiann, Ashley; great-grandchildren, Mariah, Adessa, Sydney, Sarah, Serina, Alex IV, Anthony, Jr., Madalynn, Gabriel and Christien. Alex had 23 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He served in the Air Force and was a Marine Corps Veteran. He enjoyed playing poker and shooting pool with his brother Julian and his wife Carmen. Alex was a faithful attendee at Sacred Heart Parish in Phoenix. Visitation will be at 9:00am, Rosary at 10:00am and a Funeral Mass at 11:00am, Tuesday, October 12th, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1421 S. 12th Street, Phoenix, 85034. Interment will follow at 1:30pm, at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
