John E. Rhodes, 83 of Scottsdale, Arizona and Gig Harbor, Washington passed away on November 17th in Phoenix, Arizona from Leukemia. John was born on October 16, 1928 and raised in Beaver, Pennsylvania, son of “Duke” and Sally Rhodes. He graduated from University Pittsburg and spent his business career in Insurance. John had many interests in life: golf, travel, good wine, crossword puzzles and the outdoors. But most all he valued his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife Janice of 42 years, son’s Jeff and Dave (Andi), granddaughter Harper, and his sister Elizabeth Tovani. A private service will be held in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he lived and worked for over 30 years.
