ROBERTON, BETTY H

passed peacefully on January 11, 2011. Betty was born in Chicago on July 10, 1922. Betty married Arthur Roberton in August of 1949. She moved with her family to Phoenix in 1971. While raising her family Betty worked in data entry. She was actively involved in the National Christ Child Society of Phoenix as well as having been an extraordinary minister at St. Theresa Parish. She was preceded in death by Arthur. She is survived by her children Mary Kay Byke (Ray), Ann Marie Street (Ed), Donald Roberton (Rhonda), grandchildren Nicole Savage, Sean Roberton, Aerin Roberton and sister Patricia J. Hart of Chicago. Visitation will be held Monday 1-17 from 5:30-7:30pm with a Scripture Service at 7:00pm at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday 1-18, 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix.
