Sr. Fernando Rodriguez

Fernando Rodriguez Sr., 68, of Chandler, Arizona went home to be with the Lord Jesus in Heaven on January 21, 2022. While we deeply mourn the unexpected loss of our beloved Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin and friend we rejoice with an absolute assurance of a future blessed reunion, which is promised to all by our heavenly Father. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart” (Proverbs 3:5). Fernando was born to Moises Rodriguez and Micaela Nevarez on March 4, 1953 in La Mesa Del Huracan Chihuahua, Mexico. Fernando is survived by his children Claudia Rodriguez Urbina, Noe Rodriguez, Johnny Rodriguez, Fernando Rodriguez Jr. and Isaac Rodriguez. Fernando’s number one hobby was to play and coach baseball. He traveled all over the states with his children and grandchildren coaching the great game of “béisbol” and at times yell at the umpires as he called it “To wake them up”. Fernando also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, friends and family. Fernando will truly be remembered for his kind spirit and care for others. He leaves a legacy not only to his children but to everyone that had the privilege of knowing him. Celebration of life services will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd. Phoenix, Arizona 85018.
