Dorothy was Born August 8, 1952 in Grants, NM. To Gregorio Rosario and Emma (Chavez) Rosario. She attended Murphy #3 Elementary School and Phoenix Union High School.
Dorothy was recently retired from United Technologies Aerospace Systems where she worked many years in Aerospace Manufacturing. Prior to working for UTAS Dorothy worked many years in the electronic business for various businesses thorough out the Greater Phoenix area.
Dorothy is survived by her children Dollie Mendez (Freddy) and Gregory Rosario (Chrystal). 5 Grandchildren, Desiree (Daniel), Monique (Jesus), Josh, Haylie and Jizelle. 7 Great-Grandchildren, Damien, Anabelle, Dominic, Victoria, Vincent, Natalia and Dahlia. 3 Sisters, Grace (Felix), Julie ( Ronnie) and Jeanie and many loved ones.
Dorothy loved spending time with her family and friends. B-I-N-G-O was her favorite game to play which she was pretty lucky at. Dorothy loved traveling and experiencing life to the fullest and made friends everywhere she went. Dorothy had a bright and energetic personality which will light up a room as soon as she entered. She was “The Life of The Party”. Her love for her grandbabies was unconditional and vice versa. She had a passion for playing music and dancing which she did often. She loved baking for her family and friends. Her banana nut bread and cookies will be missed by many. She touched many lives with her generosity and love for everyone and everything. Dorothy played the AZ lottery religiously and finally hit the “Jackpot” when she entered the gates of Heaven. Dorothy is deeply missed and loved by many. Sunday Fun-day will never be the same without her. May Dottie rest in Heavenly Paradise.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Dorothy on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home. 4800 E. Indian School Rd. Phoenix. A Visitation and Rosary will be held from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. with a reception to follow in the banquet room.

If you want to know what is happiness is then, Here lies a great example of the Wisdom of Happiness; Happiness is a strong determination to show people how to be happy. This is what Ms. Dorthory did every day at work. She would come in laughing at the simplest thing and turn the morning into a get day. When she walked into a room it lit up like you were at the Super Bowl halftime Game. She always showed us the many ways you can laugh, smile, and share happiness. Ms. Dorthy give me some advice one day and now I will share it with you. You have the power to hurt yourself or to benefit yourself. if you do not choose to be happy no one can make you happy, so don’t blame it on God for that. But if you choose happiness then no one can make you unhappy. Never stop laughing RIP The Queen of laughter!! You will be forever missed!

My deepest condolences to the family and friends, Dolly I know how hard it is to loose a mother. Some days may feel unbearable and will not be easy but try to find comfort in the good memories and time that you got together my prayers are with you and yours , she was a very special lady I have so many memories of her , she made me laugh with her silliness and spontaneous jokes, I
remember when the firefighters use to come to the company she would said mija hold me, we are gonna pretend I am fainting so they can gime CPR, it hurts me to know she is gone I am trully sorry , I wish I could help ease your pain . My prayers are with you all. Rest in peace Dorothy .
