Retired Lt. Colonel Ross W. Bruner, USAF, came: Friday, April 13, 1928. Proud Native of Amarillo, Texas. Son to Ross Lester and Mary Bishop. Nephew to Uncle Sam, USA.

100 plus missions over North Korea, 1951 & 1952, F80, F84D. One of two returning his class of 26 deployed.

Air National Guard 26 years, Private Pilot thru 1980.

Devoted father to Velvet Ann, Ross David, Mark Whitney and Nancy Elise, to date.

Grandfather to Zaeneb, Shaheen, Hanaan, Nadya, Grace, Daniel, James and Owen, forever.

Lover of God and Freedom and a Patriot to those alone. Kept his home to the last so that none of his children would ever be without one.

He was Independent, Quirky, Compassionate and Unextravagant and Very Strong Self Willed.

Longed and fought for a voluntary, fair tax code for citizens, in lieu of current I.R.S. tactics levied upon them.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2007, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. with a Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M., at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix. Interment to follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix
