ROY,

Treva “Billie” Poling Roy, age 90 left us peacefully on Saturday, January 8, 2011. She is predeceased by her two children, daughter Ann and infant son Andrew. She leaves her beloved husband of 68 years, Philip H. Roy; her six children – Philip, Sandra, Steven, Peter, Treva and Judy; 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was a gourmet cook and a gracious hostess to all, always finding room for another at her table, making everyone warmly welcomed. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00pm, Friday, January 14, at All Saints Episcopal Church, 6300 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85012. The family requests that donations be made in her name to All Saints Episcopal Church or Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014

    Dearest Phil and family,

I wanted to write and tell you again how sorry I am for your loss. There are never the right words to express how deeply sad I am that you have to endure your loss. Billie will be truly missed by everyone who knew her no matter where they crossed her path in life, Billie was a giver, never a taker, she was a teacher and always there to help.
Friends like Billie are few in life and it is with a heavy heart that I also grieve with your loss.
Billies friendship meant the world to me, and I could’nt
