Barbara Maria Rudolph

Barbara was born in NYC, NY on November 3, 1948 to Dorothy G. Kammerer and Emerich C. Rudolph. She passed away on October 23, 2022 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. She moved to AZ shortly after her birth with parents and grandparents. She attended St. Agnes school and was part of the 1st graduating classes of St. Theresa school in 1962 and Gerard HS in 1966. After graduating from ASU in 1971, she worked as an interior designer for Mehagian’s fine furniture for many years before starting her own business, Barbara Rudolph interiors. She loved creating beauty both at work designing and with needlework at home. She was a member of ASID. Barbara loved a project and would spend many hours making sure things were done the way they should be done.

Barbara cherished the many friends she made throughout her life. She was a driving force behind reunions of family, neighbors, work and school. She liked staying in touch and keeping people connected.

Her dogs were also a very important part of her life. Many rescued puppies have her to thank for a good “forever home”.

In her long struggle with illness, there were many persons who supported her. Thanks to Dr. Shill and all the staff at the Mohammed Ali Parkinson Center. Thanks also to Hospice of the Valley and to all of her wonderful care givers during her final days; Heidi, Melissa, Joy and all her supportive long-time friends. You made a difference and brought smiles to her face.

Bye Barb, you will be missed by your Aunt Marian, your nieces and nephews and all your Arizona friends.

A graveside service will be held at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11:30 AM.
