59 years old. Born March 8, 1951, died April 27, 2010 in Phoenix, AZ. Preceded in death by her father John Lard, Sr., mother Wilma Lard, sister Karen DeLuca and husband Bruce Ruede. Survived by daughter Cassie (Joe) Triano, stepson Brian Ruede, sisters; LaVonne (George) Halby and Kay Lard, brother John Lard, Aunt Gloria (Robin) Howard, grandchildren; Derek Gens, Joey and Elysia Triano, nephews and nieces; John (Rebecca) DeLuca, Joseph DeLuca, George, Missy and Dana Halby, Christopher and Mandy Rake. Nikki spent much of her life helping care for the young children in our family. She was the ‘fun’ aunt that took the kids to camp, the beach, school activities, doctor, dentist appointments, and babysat all day. She has been generous with her time and money to those needing help. We love her and will miss her. Graveside Service will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 1, 2010 at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to American Cancer Society.

Condolences for the family of “RUEDE, NIKKI”

Condolence from Beemeth T. Robles MD on November 13th, 2010 10:35 pm

After many attempts at trying to reach our friend Nikki, tonight I discovered that our dear friend, whom we had been trying to reach for months, had passed. We are truly saddened by this horrible news and our hearts go out to her family. We know that Niiki had a difficult time after she lost the love of her life to cancer. Bruce was an incredibly nice guy and the two of them were made for each other. We will miss you Nikki. You were in this life for too short a time…. rest well my friend.
