Marcos A. Ruiz, 96, of Phoenix, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2020. He was raised by his mother Ines Chacon in Arizona.
He served in the United States Army for 21 years as a medical specialist. He earned the rank of Staff Sergeant serving in WWII and two tours during Viet Nam.
He is survived by his five children, his brother Joe R. (Tillie), his sister Mary R. (Polo), along with many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Burial will follow at 12:30 P.M. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix.
