It is heartbreaking to see Tia’s picture because I see so much of my Daddy in her features along with so many others of that generation of our family. They, along with Tia, gave and loved so much. They knew loss, suffering, and most of all devotion. I hold dear the memory of going to Nana and Tata’s house as a little girl and seeing Tia and the boys – Richard and Frankie – and my other cousins as well. Such good times! And since those days and throughout my life, Tia was always kind and loving each time we met. Even though that is not a memory, it is a cherished feeling that will never leave me.
I know without a doubt that along with my Daddy, she was one of the strongest persons I have ever known, enduring so much loss in a single lifetime and yet, remaining kind and positive despite it all.
Dear Frankie and George, my cousins, we grieve with you and embrace you with our sorrow and also with the knowledge that she rests in peace.
    Nancy and Rudy Dimas
