Adelina passed away peacefully on September 20, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Glendale, AZ, December 27, 1923. She was the daughter of Jose and Maria Moreno. Her husband Rudy Sazueta; sister Josefina Molina; and brothers Francisco, Anselmo, Alberto, Manuel, Fausto, and Enrique precede her in death. She is survived by her brother, Jesus; children Sonia Palacio (John), Norma Valencia (Henry Joe) and Rossana Gatlin (Travis); grandchildren: Johnny and Steven Palacio, Melissa and Rebecca Valencia, Margaret Dominguez (Daniel), Caroline Gatlin; one great-grandson, Alexander Dominguez; two step grandchildren, Rachelle Ciulla and Travis T. Gatlin, as well as many nieces and nephews. Adelina will be remembered for her faith in the Holy Spirit, funny stories and the love and warmth she extended to all. We will deeply miss her, but we are rejoicing in her reunion with her dear family members who preceded her in death. Forever loved, we celebrate her life and memory. Visitation 6-9pm, with a Rosary at 7pm, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, Monday, September 27, 2010. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 909 E. Washington, Phoenix, at 10am on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
