Josephine Serio

Of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Friday August 28th, 2020. Joanne was born in Johnson City New York to Gasper and Teresa Margardino. Her family moved to Arizona in 1952, where she grew up, and eventually met the love of her life Joseph Serio. The two were married and had three children. Joanne had a lifelong love of music and singing, including her time with the church music group she so dearly cherished.
Joanne was preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph Serio. She is survived by her three sons: Ron Serio, Joey Serio, and John Serio as well as her 9 grandchildren.
A graveside ceremony will take place at St. Francis Cemetery 2033 North 48th Street, Phoenix, AZ, 85018 on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 9:30 A.M. All are welcome to come be a part of this ceremony. For those who are unable to make it, you may express condolences at
