86, wife of the late Leo A. Simpson, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2014. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who had devoted her life to creating a loving home. She had a huge heart, was extremely giving and had the ability to make each child and grandchild feel they were her favorite. Her laugh was infectious. She is survived by six children; David (Dianna), Deborah Gardner, Gail Caretto (Mark), Daniel, Gloria Johnston, and Edward (Janice), 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and sister Lorrain Bullock. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 17, 2014 at St. Louis the King Catholic Church, 4331 W. Maryland Avenue, Glendale. The final committal service will take place following the mass at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
