Xochitl (Acosta) Steffen

92, of Phoenix, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully April 20, 2013.  She was born February 22, 1921, the oldest of seven children to Luis and Petra Acosta.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Walter and her grandson Sean Steffen.  She is survived by her children, Sr. Connie Steffen, I.B.V.M., Walter, MaryLynn Mason, Fred (Sara), Ron (Priscilla), Lucia (Dave), 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Also her sisters Asela, Nancy, and Mickie.  Visitation will be held at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road from 5:30-8:30pm with Rosary at 7pm, Wednesday, April 24

at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4715 N. Central Avenue.  Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.  Family requests donations to I.B.V.M. Retirement Fund, P. O. Box 508, Wheaton, IL 60187.
