Our beloved mother Jeannette went to heaven Saturday evening, March 23, 2013. Born in the Province of Quebec, Canada March 9, 1931. The family moved from St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada in July 1966 to Phoenix, AZ. An inspirational woman with fearless strength challenged with severe rheumatoid arthritis most of her adult life faced with medical challenges was a successful business woman owning and operating a beauty salon to provide for her family. Survived by daughter Catherine Scarla (Ray), 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, son Larry Blouin (Katrina), 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation from 6-8pm, Scripture Service at 7pm, Tues., April 2, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd, Phx. Funeral Mass at 9:30am, Wed., April 3, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 10815 N. 35th Ave, Phx. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Jeannette was a loving wife, caring, supportive mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mom, you will always be in our hearts and forever missed. We love you! In lieu of flowers, family requests a donation to the Arthritis Foundation.
