Ann was an old high school friend of mine. Marcy Elsbree told me Ann was ill with cancer. I sent a card with a note but am sure it arrived too late. I have had cancer 3 times myself and Marcy felt I could give Ann some comfort. The last time we were together was about 20 years ago when Al and I came to Phoenix with the Colorado State football team (they were playing Arizona State) and we had lunch together. It was Oct. and the weather was beautiful – as was Ann. My husband Al went to Stanford Business School with Ann’s brother Jack and Gene Elsbree.
Gus and Family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Knowing that Ann is now with The Lord and at peace will hopefully give you comfort in the days ahead.
All our love, Al and Shirley Anderson
