To the family of Ed Sullivan:
I first met Ed through a client of mine who wanted a lease agreement drawn up for new tenants. Marie and Ed were those tenants. I was immediately drawn to their personalities because of how kind and honest they were. After I withdrew as counsel from my client I was able to have a friendship based relationship with them.
Ed became great friends with myself, my husband and my extended family. We used to have dinners together, began cooking together at the Scottsdale Elks Lodge and he and my husband set a time to go fishing together but Ed and Mary could not find the spot so they rescheduled. Ed would go with us to Karaoke and sit and relax at our home in the evenings to have dinner and visit. Both myself, my husband and John have all felt we have lost not only a dear friend, but a brother. We miss him terribly. Our hearts go out to you. You were blessed with a wonderful and loving Husband, Father, Uncle and Grandfather. He loved all of you so much. He would share stories and the pride of his wife and children was so very evident from his words. May God bless you and keep you always. Know you were fortunate to have had him in your lives for as long as you did.
We were fortunate to have him in ours. Thank you.
Deede Williams
I will miss my uncle boots.! My heart goes out to all of you and my prayers are with you. God Bless and keep in touch.

To All Who Visit this website who knew Ed and me — We appreciate any experience we may have shared with you and want to express: We shared each other in the simplest of ways just to live and raise our children, share with others and help anyone who came our way with some kind of action. We were involved in various social, political and economic endeavors with Veterans of all walks of life, organizations such as PTO and Cub Scouts, with education and giving whatever help we could in the way of volunteering. Though Ed has been compromised with diabetes and heart disease, we still were able to volunteer to help in any way we could. We love our families and friends and shared many happy moments. We loved to bowl, fish, hunt, help some unknown person on the street when we had to sink due to our waning finances with a few dollars, then a few cents. Though we saved, ti was not enough, especially when I was unable to work any longer since January 2008, no longer being able to do nursing. We always kept our faith in God, the Catholic Church, families in Minnesota and in Arizona; old friends and new friends, especially at the ELKS; namely, Deede, John, Sherwood, Angel, Bill, Phil, Carol, Buffy, Kay, Debbie, Tim, Diane, John, Jr., Rhonda, Jack, Judy, Ken, Little Dee — WE LOVE YOU ALL!
Then, in Minnesota: Aunt Jean and all her children, her sister, Marian, Lolly, brothers, Bud and wife, Wanda; Chuck, Richard; Paul, Earl & Antia; John & Jay; Sherry and all her family; Patty and all her family, Debbie and all her family; Bonnie & family, Mike, Chad, Ben, Ethan, Katie & Family, Jayne and Gregg; Sister, Gert and her family: Carol Ann, Barb, David, Georgie and all their family; the McFarlands; brothers Bob & Dorothy and all their family; Earl & Jean; Bill & Phyllis; Jim; Gert & George. My family in New Mexico and Arizona, on the rez and in the city; We are all related and will one day also be with my wonderful husband, Ed, “across the river” in the “Good Place”: and Heaven. Until then, In my husband”s memory, I will fight on to help family, friends and others who must face the same economic woes that happen when jobs are lost because of health or fortune; for kids to stay in school; and, for the possibly 25% of the American population who are suffering as we have to just barely make it. I hope to establish a foundation in memory of my husband to help the “Working Poor” and people who have suffered job loss or health which throws them into poverty. God Bless You all; God Bless America. Thank yiou to St. Theresa Catholic Church, Father Chuck, and Sean Murphy, Barb, Ty at Whitney&MurphyFuneralHome!
