Eric “Rick” Swendson was born August 21, 1954 in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended St. Vincent de Paul, Alhambra High School, Maricopa Technical College, Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, and served in the United States Air Force. Rick was an avid outdoorsman, gun collector, ham radio enthusiast, electrical mechanical designer, motor cyclist, and a talented artist and musician. He is survived by two sisters, Janet and Ginny, brother, Chris, and nieces, Heather Hazelett and Melissa Figueroa. We will miss the wunnerful1! Graveside Service will be held at the National Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
