Dear family- so sorry for the loss of Grandma- she always had a smile and hug for everyone! She was always interested in what you were doing and enciuraging.
We will dearly miss sweet Phyllis — such a feisty, opinionated, spirited soul who didn’t mind sharing every truth and loved to “observe” and “listen” to everyone to understand them better. I’ll never forget New Year’s dinner when she had set our place at the table and remembered straws for Roger. Our hearts will hurt a little for a while, but we are so glad we had the opportunity to spend time with her.
My sincere condolences for your loss. It is never easy when you lose someone you love. May your treasured memories bring your family joy and comfort in the months and years to come. And may our Creator’s promise as found at Revelation 21:3,4 bring your family hope.
Sincerely,
Norma Stella Peralta
My dearest Aunt and friend….She gave me my first piece of turquoise when I was about 12 years old; she helped me pick out my wedding dress; she stood with me at my Mother’s bed at the moment she passed away; oh! and I can’t forget a crazy 3 week trip back East in Cathy’s Astrovan to Brockway, Pennsylvania. And there was so much more. My Mother was an RN, Phyllis was an RN, I am an RN and my great grandmother was a midwife. Caring for others was always at the heart of everything Phyllis did.
I will miss her every day of the rest of my life. But, what a wonderful, full, life she lived. As God promises in Revelation 21: 3 and 4……He will wipe away every tear and death will be no more. My trust is in God’s word.
I have no idea how many years I played bridge with Phyllis. She was an intense player and a very good bridge player and let you know if you messed up. She will be greatly missed by all of us. My deepest condolences to her family.
