TIGUE, HERMINIA MARTHA

Herminia Martha Tigue, born December 8, 1939, was called home on July 10, 2015. Affectionately called Mennie by her family and Martha by her friends, she lived her life with enthusiasm. She had a lively family history, going back to her grandparents, Ignacio and Angelita Flores, who in Mexico; became the parents of 18 children. Her Mother, also named Angelita, came to the United States and married Ricardo Yutze.   Ricardo and Angelita became the parents of 3 daughters, Ida, Dellia, and Herminia.  Martha loved to hike, golf, cook, bake, walk and spend time with her friends and family. Martha always dressed to the nines and was a vision of beauty inside and out.  At the age of 22, a dashing young Irishman by the name of Ronald Tigue, stole her heart and Martha and Ron were married June 3, 1961.  Martha was a loving and caring wife for over 30 years to her husband Ron who passed away in November of 2003.  Martha enjoyed working and was a great asset to her employers. She loved to plan girl’s trips with her friends and coworkers. Martha always treated every person she ever met with kindness.  In 2005 she met her companion Darrell Williams who was her best friend. They enjoyed golfing and road trips together.  When asked by friends and family to describe Martha… classy, approachable, professional, fun, warm hearted and beautiful were the common words.   Martha is survived by, her son Keith Tigue, daughter in law Anna Tigue, granddaughters Briana (husband Chris Medina), Mikayla, Alysia, great granddaughter Lilly, her daughter Michele Siverson, son in law Steve Siverson, granddaughters Ashley (husband Joey Cascio), Melissa, Sydney, Sloane and great grandsons Malcolm and Cash. She is also survived by her close sister Ida Allen. Martha recognized the glory and the love of God. No one was beneath her.  No one was above her.  Life was to be lived and life for Martha, was an opportunity to be seized with enthusiasm.  Martha, may you rest in peace and may the Eternal Light Shine upon you. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85016.
