Our beloved Father, Grand-Father and Brother; Arturo Rogelio Torres, “Tini” passed away peacefully anticipating the reunion with his beloved wife of 63 years, Maria Dolores Torres who proceeds him. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1920 and enjoyed a lifetime of love and friendship with his neighbors and family. Roy proudly served his country as a World War II, South Pacific, Army Veteran. Our decorated Hero was presented with Medals of Honor for his heroic courage in battle. He displayed his dedication to his Country and fallen Comrades as he dressed sharply in his Military Veteran attire each day. Tini is survived by his sister Pepi, Brother John,

Daughter Carmen, and Sons Manuel and Joe. Tini was also blessed with God’s gift of 16 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great, Great-Grandchildren who survive to continue his legacy. Our hearts are heavy with bittersweet feelings of his passing, but we know he is in the loving presence of his beautiful wife “Lola” and two sons, Arthur and George. We will keep his memory alive for generations as he left us with a lasting impression of knowledge and humor. We love you and will miss you always.
