VALDEZ,

54, born May 28, 1958, in Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012. Henry is survived by his mother (Juana), wife Mary, son Bobby (Natalie), daughter Angela (Leo) one grandson Andre, along with many nieces and nephews. He graduated from East High School in 1976. Worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. with a Scripture Service at 7:00 P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, 10:30 A.M. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Ave., Phoenix, AZ. The family requests in lieu of flowers donation be made to the University of Arizona Cancer Center.

    I am so sorry to hear of Henry’s passing. Management lost one of their best employees. Henry was a great man who always gave people the respect they deserved and in return employees gave him their best. My thoughts and prayers to the Valdez family.     I am very blessed to be a part of the Valdez family.. My Uncle Henry was an amazing man, very caring and loved his family and his mother with all of his heart. He set the bar high for all of us to achieve greatness.. Love you and I will always miss you.. You were the best uncle anyone could of hoped for. Thank you for everything you did for me and my girls. Love you always and forever
