VALENCIA, BENNY APODACA
Benny Apodaca Valencia, 76 of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018.
Benny was married to Mary Valencia on June 30, 1963 and together had two beautiful children, Daniel and Linda. He worked for Fleming Foods for 35 years as a warehouseman until retiring. Benny loved to BBQ for friends and family. He enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors, fishing and camping and his trips to the casino. He is so loved and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents Fernando and Margarita Apodaca Valencia.
Benny is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary; son Daniel Valencia and daughter Linda Valencia; 3 grandchildren, Ashley Valenzuela, Christopher Valencia and Daniel Valencia and 7 great-grandchildren. All of the services for Benny will be held at Saint Mary’s Basilica, 231 N. 3rd Street, Phoenix AZ, on Saturday, January 5, 2019. Beginning with Visitation at 9:00AM; Rosary Service at 10:30AM and the Funeral Mass at 11:00AM. A reception will follow Mass in the hall at St. Mary’s Church.
We wantto express our deepest heartfelt sympathy for the loss of Benny. We have nothing but fond thoughts of times we shared with Benny and his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time of sorrow.

My heartfelt condolences to Benny’s family. I have known Mary and Benny since the early sixties. And we became fast friends. I dearly love them both.
