William VanLandingham e1448303095941

David VanLandingham, 51 of Lutz, FL, died November 17, 2015. A beloved husband, brother, son, uncle and friend to so many, has left us far too soon. David was an amazing soul. He had the heart of a lion and the voice of an angel. He had so much passion and love for life, always wore his heart on his sleeve and his infectious laugh couldn’t help but make you laugh yourself. In his short 51 years he gave us all the gift of his beautiful voice. He could lift a room to tears with his angelic sound or make a crowd jump to their feet with his thunderous voice. He loved what he did and only wanted to make people happy with the gift he was given. Throughout his career and personal life David has touched so many lives, not just with his voice, but with love and respect for all he met. He truly loved life and embraced all those close to him. His love for his family and close friends was undeniable. David was and always will be the most giving and loving man this world has ever been graced with. He is now singing with the angels and telling them all not to be off key. We will miss you, your laugh, and your genuine simple soul. You are once again in your loving mother’s arms. Preceded in passing by his mother Mary Laura and his ex-wife Rhonda. Survived by his wife Pamela, father Earl E. VanLandingham Jr (Alice), sisters, Erika Cameron (Duncan) and Nicole Miller (Mikey), brother Ed VanLandingham (Robin), 2 step-children, Danielle Lipski and A.J. Lipski, nieces, Crystal VanLandingham, Heather VanLandingham (Chris Jaenichen), nephews, Blair VanLandingham, Taylor Cameron, Tanner Cameron, grandson Braison Lipski and 2 grandnieces, Serenity Jaenichen and Analise Jaenichen. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd. My deepest condolences to David’s family and friends (of which I was one). Having just seen him at Rhonda’s funeral, this is especially hard as he was not even close to being done. It is still hard to comprehend that he is gone. His life was cut short and we were all robbed of a wonderful person who was very passionate about his craft. Having learned more about him from the memorial service, it is evident that he connected and touched many more people than I could have imagined. I chose to remember him as a genuine, good hearted person who followed his heart and his dreams while still keeping his feet placed in reality. He made an impact with his music and his heart. I will miss him and his personal nature and I will never forget him. God rest his soul….goodbye my friend.

Remembering David’s warm nature, big smiles and fun times whenever I saw him and Rhonda back in the day. I didnt expect him to remember me after falling out of touch over the years, but he did, and it was so good to reconnect despite the circumstances that brought him back to Phoenix a few months ago. Such a shock to rekindle a friendship and then have it suddenly taken away by tragedy. You are missed, David. Thank you for your friendship. My heart goes out to David’s family and friends.
