Petra H. Varela (Pat H. Varela), entered the gates of Heaven April 27, 2020 at the age of 79 years old. She was born May 29, 1940 in Isleta, Texas to Felipa Y. Hernandez and Brigido D. Hernandez. As a young girl her family moved to Phoenix where she was raised. Petra married Jose Varela her loving sweetheart. Petra left two brothers; Eusebio Hernandez and Eustogio Hernandez, three sisters; Virginia Ramos, Lupe Quintero and Teresa Hernandez. Petra is now joined with her High School sweetheart. You will be missed and never forgotten.

Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of your sister and aunt. I worked with her at Sacred Heart Church, and knew Petra well. She was a very loving and caring person who always others’ needs before her own. Pleae take comfort knowing that Petra is at rest in God’s kingdom in the company of her loved ones who departed before her and awaits to be reunited with those she left behind. Rest In Peace Amiga.
