Marylou Verdugo was born on January 17, 1931 in Phoenix, AZ and passed away on January 29, 2020 at the age of 89. Marylou was a long-time resident of Phoenix Manor where she enjoyed spending time with her many cherished friends. She had a great love of music as well as time with her family. She lived life to the fullest and always took great pleasure in sharing a joke, especially with the wonderful first responders from the Phoenix Fire Dept. who helped her countless times. She was preceded in death by her parents Albert & Carmen Verdugo, sisters; Eva Pinedo & Evelyn Sanchez & son Harold Rivera. She is survived by sons Nick (Sylvia) Rivera, Tommy (Shirley) Rivera, Ronald (Melissa) Rivera, Donald (Angie) Rivera and daughter Beverly (Joe Torres (spouse), 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren & 4 great great grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 6th, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix.
