Aunt Cathy has always been such a fun aunt to grow up with. With such a big Waddell family all of us were always close and tight knit. She always welcomed all of us to her home to spend the night and have girls night with Liz and Joanne. Except we could never find Joanne, Aunt Cathy would say just look in one of the closets she’s probably in there reading , she usually was.. I’ll never forget the time she and uncle Frank went to casa grande,az to visit my mom Olga (her sister) mom and aunt cathy looked so much alike that my son Jason who was 3 yrs old had just woken from a nap and went and sat on aunt cathy and was kissing & cuddling with her thinking it was my mom. Aunt Cathy was soaking up all the attention knowing that he thought it was Olga, when my mom walked in the house and Jason seen her he looked at aunt cathy then back at my mom and was horrified that he had been tricked he turned to aunt cathy and said “stupid cathy” She busted out laughing. I will truly miss her but knowing she s with my mom & dad gives me comfort.
