Ken and I were best friends since the 7th grade. There was very little time we spent apart. Unfortuantely we drifted apart the last several years but I still consider him my best friend. I will always miss our talks and the way we helped each other through lifes many obstacles. I cannot even begin to express how deeply sadden I am by this loss, it tears me up that I will never here his voice again. I hope Ken is at peace with our Lord.

To Ken’s Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. While I was only able to spent Jr. High and HIgh School with him, this gentleman made such a wonderful impact on my life.
I will always remember him as having superior intellect , with gentleness and honestly that was different from anyone else I knew at Durfee and Arroyo.
Ken,
You have been missed for many years. I now miss you in an entirely different way. Rest in Peace, my friend. Rest in peace.

Dear Vance and all of Ken’s family,
I am so sorry to hear about Ken’s passing. I had the great honor to know Ken in high school and even dated him for a little while our sophomore year. He made me laugh a lot and I loved his smile and his beautiful red hair. He was an extraordinary friend to all and I remember him being well-loved and admired for that. I was always so impressed with his great character and inspired by how much he loved and cared for his family, especially you, Vance. It has been some years now since I last saw Ken, but I am profoundly saddened that he is gone. I hope that your many happy memories of Ken will carry you through your sadness and that you know that he was loved and will be missed by too many people to count. You and Ken will always be in my thoughts.
Sincerely, Lisa LaFlame

Vance, I am so sorry to hear about Ken’s passing. I don’t have the words to express my thoughts very well. He was a sweet guy when I knew him, and know he looked up to you a lot. You two really only had each other in life. I was always moved by the way you two looked out for each other. I pray you find some meaning in his life and death. Take care of yourself.

Ken was a man I had the honor of knowing for just a short time. See Ken is my older brother. Vance was kind enough to find our mom and allow me the chance to know, love and respect Kenneth Watson. Though we lived separate lives, God allowed me to have a love for Ken that holds deep down in my heart and will never disappear. To Vance and Diane I am so very sorry for you loss. Know that I pray for you both and think of you guys often. Ken would have wanted it this way. He had nothing but love and respect for you both. My condolences to you. Lavi Joy Ortiz

My sympathy is extended to the family & friends.
God’s words found in the Bible gives such encouragement for us. It tells us the hope we have as we are trying to cope with the changes that have occured in our lives. May you find some peace and strength from these scriptures:
Isaiah 25:8 – death will be completely done away with.
(John 11:25) Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life;
(Revelation 21:4-5) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” 5 And the One seated on the throne said: “Look! I am making all things new.” Also, he says: “Write, because these words are faithful and true.”

Dear Vance and Ken’s family,
I am truly sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. Ken and I attended kindergarden at Durfee through high school at Arroyo together, often in the same classes. We were friends for many years and I remember Ken being smart, funny, and having a strong gentleness about him. Like too many other classmates and friends, I never spoke to Ken again after Arroyo, but I did think of him from time to time. I will keep Ken and you all in my thoughts and prayers.
