
Helen Agnes was born on October 19, 1924, in Pittsburg, PA, to Joseph and Margaret Fallon. She lived 96 years, passing away on September 14, 2021. She grew up in Pittsburg and graduated from Annunciation High School. She served in the U.S. Marine Corp as a Sergeant in WWII. She had 6 children all born in Spokane, WA. She moved to Phoenix, AZ, with all 6 children and joined her parents and other siblings. She was a retiree from Motorola. Helen was a parishioner of St. Theresa Catholic Church. She belonged to Women’s Marine Association and the Legion of Mary. Her hobbies were sewing and her Word Search puzzles, Nascar racing, football, and golf. She lived a full life raising 6 children and taking pride in their accomplishments and celebrating the birth of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Helen was a strong, simple, loving, caring person who believed in helping others and a true servant to the Lord. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Marge, Dolores, Jean, Bill, Jane, Joan, Sr. Irene, Joe; granddaughter Elizabeth A. Amich. She is survived by her children Mike, Mary Kay Briley, Jennifer Amich, Patti (Trisha), Bill, David (Cindy); 5 grandchildren: Anna, Craig, Cheryl, Jessica, Angel; 3 great grandchildren: Sage, Ruben, and Elena.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, October 8, 2021 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix. Condolences may be expressed at www.whitneymurphyfuneralhome.com
