Marilyn Wells

Marilyn Wells, 80 years old of Phoenix, AZ, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 13, 2023. She was born on September 14, 1942 to her parents George E. Pearce and Margaret McNally in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Marilyn first came to the United States when she won an immigration lottery and immediately moved to Ellicottville, NY. Later, she moved to Phoenix, AZ with her husband Peter Robson who predeceased her.

Marilyn was an avid world traveler, an art collector, and always enjoyed dancing, music (especially mariachis), and of course… margaritas! Her friends and family will all dearly miss her and will always remember all the fun they have had throughout the years.

She is preceded in death by her parents George and Margaret Pearce, brother George Pearce Jr., first husband Dave Wells, and second husband Peter Robson. She is survived by her son Brian Wells, daughter Brenda Plant, sister Carol Pickering, brother Joe “Larry” Pearce, sister Linda Carone (Bob), brother Grant Pearce, brother Graham Pearce, sister Tracy Kelly-Pearce, grandson Chase Wells, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Viewing will be held from 4:00 – 5:00 P.M. followed by a Visitation from 5:00 – 6:00 P.M., on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85018.
