WHITE, MAXINE S.

WHITE,

 

Maxine S. White passed away June 26, 2014. She was born in Ashland, Kentucky to Josephine and Antonio Saleeba on November 3, 1925. She graduated from Williamson High School and went to business school in Bowling Green KY.

 

Maxine and her husband, Thomas F. White Sr. lived 10 years in Williamson, West Virginia prior to moving to Phoenix in 1967. Sadly Thomas passed away in 1970.

 

Vivacious and fun loving with many close friends,

Maxine was well liked and much admired by all who met and knew her, she will especially be missed by her grandson Thomas, who she helped raise.

 

She is survived by her sons, Thomas F. White, Jr. and

Guy J. White and her grandson, Thomas F. White III, step-children, Naomi and William White, sister-in-law, Bettie Saleeba, nieces and nephews, Sauber Emil Cantees, John and Tonya Saleeba, Rona M. Saleeba and Neil Snow, and Steven Michael and Kathy Saleeba.

 

Memorial Service: 3:oopm Saturday, August 9, 2014 at St. Barnabas on the Desert, 6715 N. Mockingbird Lane, Paradise Valley, AZ. 85253.

 

It was her wish, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ. 85014 or to the American Heart Association, 2929 S. 48th Street, Tempe, AZ  85282.
