Born in Woodlawn, County Galway, Ireland to parents Margaret O’Neill and Patrick O’Neill. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Patrick and Michael. Mary is survived by her husband Bernard, sisters Eileen (and the late Sean) Fahey of Co. Galway, Ireland, Rita O’Neill of Co. Galway, Ireland, Josephine Colgan of Phoenix and Catherine (Martin) Butler of Chicago and many loving nieces, nephews, godchildren and cousins across the United States and in Ireland and England. Visitation will be 2:30 – 3:00 pm, with a Rosary at 3:00 pm, and Funeral Mass at 3:30 pm, Friday, July 16, 2010 at St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church, 1030 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale. Interment will be Saturday, July 17, at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to Misericordia Heart of Mercy, 6300 North Ridge, Chicago, IL 60660, 773-973-6300. Donations may also be made on line.
