Christopher “Chris” Winchester passed away on August 13th, 2022. He was born on August 25th, 1977 and is survived by his wife, Melissa, his father Wade, his mother Linda, his sister, Dina, and his nephew Jordan.
Chris was a proud Marine, devoted and adoring husband, and fiercely loyal friend. He was a lover of music, skateboarding, riding motorcycles & fighting MMA. He was a devoted cat and dog dad and a secret softie at heart. He often referred to his wife as his Queen and spent the last 14 years of his life dedicated to her and building a life with her both in Cincinnati, OH and Phoenix, AZ.
His wife asks that you keep his memory alive and tell stories of him often. Remember, Chris lived his life on his own terms and had no regrets. If you ask him, all he will say is “I’m a Winchester.”
A visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix with Memorial Service beginning at 3:00 PM. Prayers for Melissa, Dina, and parents. Chris was one of a kind. He used to put me in head locks in high school. One day I took him home and his family were all wrestling around and I got it. That’s how he showed love. He was tough. He was silly. He was kind. He’s kick your ass then shake your hand, or have a drink with you.
When I first saw Chris and Melissa, I knew he found his Bonnie. Perfect couple.
