WINCHESTER, CHRISTOPHER “CHRIS”

August 17, 2022 24 Condolences

Christopher Winchester

Christopher “Chris” Winchester passed away on August 13th, 2022. He was born on August 25th, 1977 and is survived by his wife, Melissa, his father Wade, his mother Linda, his sister, Dina, and his nephew Jordan.

Chris was a proud Marine, devoted and adoring husband, and fiercely loyal friend. He was a lover of music, skateboarding, riding motorcycles & fighting MMA. He was a devoted cat and dog dad and a secret softie at heart. He often referred to his wife as his Queen and spent the last 14 years of his life dedicated to her and building a life with her both in Cincinnati, OH and Phoenix, AZ.

His wife asks that you keep his memory alive and tell stories of him often. Remember, Chris lived his life on his own terms and had no regrets. If you ask him, all he will say is “I’m a Winchester.”

A visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix with Memorial Service beginning at 3:00 PM. Chris was a hell of a man, most definitely cut from a different cloth, heart of gold, would give his shirt off his back unless him,his brothers,or family were threatened, then could be deadly venomous as a snake. I am more than honored to have mentored him at 1st and later accepted by him as a friend. The world has lost a beautiful soul.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Although we lost touch over the years cause of my own issues I often thought of him. He was the nicest person I ever met and the same time the fiercest person I knew. Especially if you crossed him or family or friends. He was one of a kind and a great man he will be sadly missed

You guys were some of the first people I met out here in Arizona. Fell in love with both of you right away. I will miss Chris so much and all the crap we would talk together! Especially a few months back when we all met up! 😉
My deepest condolences to you Melissa and both your families…..definitely gonna miss him but will 100% keep his legacy going and strong.

Prayers for Melissa, Dina, and parents. Chris was one of a kind. He used to put me in head locks in high school. One day I took him home and his family were all wrestling around and I got it. That’s how he showed love. He was tough. He was silly. He was kind. He’s kick your ass then shake your hand, or have a drink with you.
When I first saw Chris and Melissa, I knew he found his Bonnie. Perfect couple.
I am grateful for all the crazy memories I have with him. He knew me when I was not my best. We had our ups and downs, but we stayed in touch.
    I love y’all
