While age clouds one’s memories, I still remember and enjoy some of my father’s stories about Lorraine’s escapades with the Sister’s at the Catholic school in Phoenix. It seems that Lorraine didn’t always agree with the Sisters, and My Dad was called upon by his sister (my Auntie Victoria) to rescue Lorraine from distressing situations. Lorraine was truly a happy and charming lady and, being four years my senior (a big age difference at my very young years), I looked up to her as my adult cousin. I learned that, like my Auntie Victoria, she was a free thinker with strong convictions which I admired. Of course it saddens me to learn of her passing, and I regret that I lost communication with the Phoenix family several years ago. My fond memories of Lorraine, and the extended Abraham Family, will always be with me. My wife Susan and I send our condolences to Larry, Steve and Rick and Lorraine’s family love ones. Fred Abraham

Carl and Lorraine shared so many stories over the years. How mischevious, fun and opinionated they both sounded. LOrraines story about Halloween, dressing up like a witch and dragging her foot behind her had me in giggles every time she shared it. Oh how she said she scared the kids! I learned more history of Phoenix, our neighborhood and specifically our street from our second family, the Wolfs. We miss our longtime neighbors. Love to the kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She will be sorely missed. Tana, Rick and Taylore Canfield.

Your Mom was a beautiful & lovely woman. She & your Dad were wonderful neighbors, and they both are greatly missed! I wish someone had told us if her passing. Our condolences to Larry, Steve, & Rick and all your family.
