Rocky was born June 21, 1977 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Rocky unexpectedly lost his life while living in Phoenix, Arizona on September 5, 2022.
Rocky was a wonderful son, brother and father. He loved his family deeply. Rocky would do anything to help others and was a friend to everyone he met.
Rocky’s love of travel took him through many adventures across the US. Rocky loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing. Rocky was also “one helluva cowboy”, riding, roping and traveling the mountains with his family.
Rocky is survived by his mother and father, Cindy and Ernie Wright, his children Matthew Wright, Trenton Lee, Josiah Wright, Jonathon Wright and Tianna Wright plus four grandchildren and two sisters, Jessica Horne and Bonnie Turner.
A celebration of life will be held at Ernie and Cindy Wright’s (7310 County Road 65, Hayden, CO 81639) on Saturday, September 17th, 2022 beginning at 10:30 am followed by a scattering of ashes on Ripple Creek Pass where Rocky loved to camp, hunt, fish and snowmobile.
Rocky was the ultimate “white knight”, always helping others ahead of himself so, in lieu of flowers please donate to your preferred organization which helps people in need.
