Hector M. Yanes, Sr., 72, of Phoenix passed away on June 3, 2019. Hector was born to Santiago and Herminia Martinez Yanes in San Benito, TX. He is survived by his wife Esther; sons Hector Jr. and Adam; daughters Mary Yanes Montoya, Margarita Yanes and Jessica Yanes Tafoya; brother Ernesto Yanes; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary service at 7:00 P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 909 S. 1st Avenue, Phoenix. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
