Our beloved father, Darvin A. Yehling (Bill), went home to be with the Lord on April 12, 2014. Born in Chicago in 1925, he eventually moved to Phoenix where he and his wife Frances raised their family. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Battle of the Bulge. He retired in 1989 from the US Postal Service. As a man of faith, he served the Lord and his church through many ministries that were close to his heart. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family. He is survived by 7 children, 13 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 10-11am, with a Funeral Service at 11am, Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Graveside Service will be at 1:30pm, Thursday, April 17 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.
