Father Yetmar was our assistant pastor and teaching at St. Mary’s when I was in school. He cared so much about kids and worked very hard for all of us–put on some wonderful plays! I was the organist for morning Masses during the summer and he was always so nice to me. God bless all of you and grant him eternal rest!

I was very saddened to hear about Father Yetmar’s passing. My name is Roseanne, living in Spartanburg, S. C,
and I am the oldest daughter of Katherine Brezovan from Fort Dodge, Iowa, and Father Yetmar was my mother’s first cousin. Mag and Jack Yetmar were my great aunt and uncle, which makes us all related. Father Yetmar and I corresponded for a while and also talked on the phone when he lived in New Mexico. Just before my son’s passing (Michael C. Parsons), he sent me a nice picture of himself in Yosemite National Park and another one blowing out candles on his cake. My son died on February 2, 2012 and I tried reaching Father Yetmar but his number had been disconnected. Maybe he had already moved to Arizona and was ill. I tried to find him after that with no success. The last time I saw Father was at my mother’s funeral which he said the Mass and that was June 22, 2002. I will miss him so much. He was a great human being and always made you feel special.

“Father” Yetmar was a documented pedophile and child abuser. God can now deal with this sick evil human.
