I have so enjoyed knowing your mother. In fact, she called me about two weeks ago – right before Micahel left for his recent Germany trip. She and my mother met and shared a meal several times. Medy was very patient as my Mom practiced her German.
She was a great lady, loved by many, and she will be missed.

Medy was an amazing woman and I will have memories of her in my heart forever. I never play a game of upwords, eat liver worst, or think the words shatzi and shlafhanus without hearing her voice. My deepest condolences to everyone, may you all find some comfort in passing time and in your memories of this special, tough, but very loving woman.

Deepest sympathy to the family and loved ones of Medy, the war bride numbers may dwindle, but the love lives on.

Medy, you were like a 2nd mother to me. I’m sorry l just found out you passed away 3 years ago. I am mourning for you now even though you have been gone so long. You were my mothers best friend for 50 years. We all had fun at the German Corner. I’ll always remember your voice and laugh. God bless you and your family, Ellen
